Scott is an RIT alumnus who makes his home in Rochester, a multiple award-winning artistic genius who designs and creates furniture, sculpture, architectural reproductions, photography, murals, play spaces, interiors, films, and other art using multiple media and many disciplines. Materials used: solid wood and highly figured veneer, metal, plastic bags, found objects, recycled objects, glass, gold and copper leaf, gems, paper, fiberglass, bronze, to name a few. GrovEvolution is a rare opportunity to see a wide range of Scott’s work all in one place.
We had a First Fridays event last week and we received great feedback from attendees – the buzz is that it’s one of the best shows that people have seen in a long time. And because Scott uses a wide range of different media, many were surprised to learn that only one artist was represented in the Gallery. Look for notices in the D&C, RBJ, City Newspaper and The Morning Edition on WXXI.
